This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which SiliconLoom LLC collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users of the CHESSAGON® application. This privacy policy applies to the application and all products and services offered by SiliconLoom LLC for the CHESSAGON® mobile application.

Personal identification information

We currently do not collect personal information on any of our users. Users may select for themselves a public alias by which they would like to be known to other online players of CHESSAGON®. When selecting an alias name, it is the users responsibility to not include any personal information within the alias name that they do not wish to publicly share. SiliconLoom LLC is not responsible or liable for any personal information that the user includes in the public alias name.

The public alias is associated with your Apple® ID. Your Apple® ID and all personal information associated with it, is stored and managed by Apple®. We use the user’s self-declared public alias to match opponents using Apple® services on the iCloud® database. Apple® assumes all liability for the security, management, API access, logon dialogs, and AppStore® transactions associated with your Apple® ID.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with our application. Non-personal identification information may include the device type, technical information about the user’s means of connection to our application, such as the operating system and the Internet services are available for communication.

How we use collected information

SiliconLoom LLC collects and uses alias information for the following purposes:

To ensure you have adequate internet connectivity in order to be able to reach and effectively use the iCloud® database.
To help automatically pair opponents for matches
To allow users to share matches with others publicly.
To save your online match history to the iCloud® database.
To store saved games to the iCloud® database.
To adjust your “Glicko” rating on a weekly basis.
To publish results of the aliases of the top rated players.
To determine your standings against other user aliases that you frequently play in online matches.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your alias information, transaction information and data stored on the iCloud® database servers.

We do not sell, trade, or rent any user’s alias information to any other parties. Your alias information is stored, secured, and retained only on your iCloud account.

Changes to this privacy policy

SiliconLoom LLC has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using this application you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our application. Your continued use of the application following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
